I know that college football has a lot to do with tradition, history, and the unique look and appeal of each school, but has the trend to be fashionable gone out of control? Oregon has made a name for itself with its plethora of uniform choices complete with multiple helmets & etc.

The New Big Ten

Well, its official. Today is the last day of the Big Ten as we know it. All reports are indicating that commissioner Delaney will announce the new Big Ten divisions this evening via the Big Ten Network.

NCAA Witch-hunt or a picture of long overlooked issues?

Is it just me or does it seem like now more than ever, the NCAA is staying on top of player & coach conduct? Even a few years ago the largest issues were fairly muted or more obscure (e.g., players were being overpaid by their part time jobs - which failed to be identified for nearly a full year after the infractions occurred).

Texas A&M Set to Leave Big 12?

So much for Dan Beebe the peacemaker. It appears that Texas A&M is expecting 20M in annual conference payout, which it is unlikely to receive from the Big 12. Texas A&M has struggled financially so every penny that they can receive from their conference will go a long way to their economic stability. If TAMU does not receive revenue of around 20M annually, look for the conference mayhem to resume with A&M likely headed to the SEC.

Should any school be recruiting Jeremiah Masoli?

One of the stories circulating this week is with regard to Jeremiah Masoli's probable admission to Ole Miss after his dismissal from Oregon. The terms of his dismissal were related to a number of offenses including marijuana possession, second degree burglary, and three non-criminal offenses. Anyone who watched Oregon Duck football last season can attest to Masoli's on the field abilities. Last season Masoli captured a number of awards for his performances, including:
