So much for Dan Beebe the peacemaker. It appears that Texas A&M is expecting 20M in annual conference payout, which it is unlikely to receive from the Big 12. Texas A&M has struggled financially so every penny that they can receive from their conference will go a long way to their economic stability. If TAMU does not receive revenue of around 20M annually, look for the conference mayhem to resume with A&M likely headed to the SEC.

So Dan Beebe managed to keep everything together after Colorado and Nebraska moved to other conferences and Texas kept the position of the ring leader through everything. Does this mean that the conference that will debut next Fall will be the Big 12 for the foreseeable future?
