Is it just me or does it seem like now more than ever, the NCAA is staying on top of player & coach conduct? Even a few years ago the largest issues were fairly muted or more obscure (e.g., players were being overpaid by their part time jobs - which failed to be identified for nearly a full year after the infractions occurred).

Per Bryan D Fisher's twitter, Reggie Bush's Heisman "will be returned to the Heisman Trust by the school (University of Southern California)." If you're a USC fan, the sanctions could not get much worse.

I just want to see what everyone's opinion is of Kiffin out there? There has been little to substantiate his ability as a coach outside of a few seasons working with Southern Cal's offense but the guy has been promoted like none before him. So, whats the deal? Are Athletic Directors naive or is there something to Lane Kiffin?

With all of the things that could have happened in terms of staff changes with the departure of Pete Carroll, Southern Cal has been able to effectively replace Carroll's staff with a large list of big names. However, will any of these names translate into the type of success experienced during the past several years under Carroll?
